1936 Bentley Derby 3 1/2 litre

The 3½ Litre was presented to the public in September 1933, shortly after the death of Henry Royce, and was the first new Bentley model following Rolls-Royce’s acquisition of the Bentley brand in 1931.

The car underwent a comprehensive restoration in 2006 including an engine rebuild of which we have photographic evidence and receipts. According to the MOT certs the Bentley has only done 450 miles since the restoration. We fitted new clutch linings and springs and the car is now driving as she should with a surprising ability to blend in to modern traffic.

1968 Jaguar E Type convertible RHD

We are delighted to be able to offer this beautiful 1968 Jaguar E Type for sale.

The Jaguar E Type was introduced to the public at the Geneva Motor show in 1961 and had an instant impact – Enzo Ferrari called it “the most beautiful car ever made”.

The E Type was in production until 1975 but underwent some changes along the way. The Series 1 was produced until 1968 (whereby all cars build in 1968 are unofficially called series 1 ½). The series 2 was built from 1968 until 1971 incorporating changes demanded by the American authorities which were mainly the uncovered headlights bigger tail lights and higher rear bumpers. For the series 3 the XK engine was replaced by the V12 5.3 litre engine and the car gained a few inches and weight.

The car that we are offering for sale is a so called series 1 ½ with the uncovered head lights but still with the series 1 toggle switches and rear lights and bumper.

Here at Pristine Classics we strive to bring classic cars back to their former glory. Each car is completed to the highest standard with the help of modern technology to ensure that it is both a drivable and enjoyable investment.

ASTON MARTIN DBS

We are delighted to be able to offer this stunning Aston Martin DBS for sale.
The Aston Martin DBS was produced by Aston Martin Lagonda Limited from 1967 to 1972 and featured in the 1969 James Bond film “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” and in the 1970s TV show “The Persuaders” as Lord Brett Sinclair’s (Rodger Moor) car.
The DBS was intended as the successor to the Aston Martin DB6, although the two ran concurrently for three years. Powered by the same 4.0 L straight-six engine with a claimed engine output of 282bhp (210 kW or 286 PS), it was eventually being phased out in favour of the much heavier V8 engine.

The 101 Series Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider evolved from the earlier Pininfarina designed Giulietta Spider; the main change was the introduction of the larger 1570 cc twin cam power plant over the Giulietta 1290 cc unit.  These cars are known to be great to drive, even on modern roads of this day. The car on offer is a very rare original factory produced right-hand drive version (Giulia 1600 Spider Normale), of which only 404 were made, and all in 1963. However, the first registration of the car was not until  01/06/1965, it was an expensive car during that time period and it stayed on a showroom floor in London until it was eventually sold. The vehicle is about to go under restorations by us, so if you have any colour requirements or any suggestions regarding the restoration of the car please contact us.
